WIT 16: Fall

And the winner is...

This WIT's theme is Fall. The WIT 14 winner was my Sunflowers photo.

WIT 15: Slow

And the winner is...

This WIT's theme is Slow. As in.. "I'm slow at updating weekly image themes." The WIT 13 winner was my domino image.

WIT 14: Circles

And the winner is...

This week's theme is Circles. The week 12 winner was Glen's cat photo. Cats are like babies, they're hard to vote against. The last theme of Stereo Photography was more like a MIT (monthly image theme). I had trouble getting them to turn out just right. On my 1600x1200 resolution screen, I found that the left & right images should be about 300x200, and then there should be about a 30 pixel gap between the two. (this made points in each image about 2.5 inches apart from each other. Well, anyways, it was tricky.

WIT 13: Stereo Photography

And the winner is...

This week's theme is Stereo Photography. Here's an explanation of how to do it. In short take a picture, slide the camera over 7 cm, take another picture. You now have 2 pictures, so say they are both 800x600. Now create one photo of size 1600x600 which has the left half as the left image, and the right half as the right image. To view it, stare at the image and cross your eyes, if everything is lined up correctly, you should be able to see a 3-D image.

WIT 12: Match

And the winner is...

This week's theme is Match. Thanks random word generator! Last week's winner was Flash's picture of Daniel pondering leaves.

WIT 11: Numbers

And the winner is...

This week's theme is Numbers. This is because Dave made me watch CBS's Numb3rs. It really is a terrible show. They started explaining a way of filtering out the sound of one person's clapping from a group. But they didn't explain it, they just pretty much made sure you knew what a large group of people clapping would sound like. Last week's winner was my Cardinal picture.

WIT 10: Confusion

And the winner is...

This week's WIT is Confusion. Last week's WIT of Spring was very popular. Thanks for the submissions! Let me know if you have any suggestions for a theme...

WIT 9: Spring

And the winner is...

This week's WIT is Spring. I think spring actually started a couple of weeks ago, but it's in full swing now.

WIT 8: Night

And the winner is...

This week's WIT is Night. I think I need more practice taking night photos, so hopefully you guys do also... The week 7 winner was my water at sunset photo.

WIT 7: Water

And the winner is...

This week's theme is Water. The week 5 winner was lilonline (my mom) with a mug of green beer. Submissions are slowing down a little, but I imagine that's because the Illini are doing so well. So no complaints there.

WIT 6: Easter

And the winners are...

This week's WIT is Easter. Sorry for the repeated theme of holidays, but I suppose it's convenient. I was the week 4 winner with my inside-out clock.

WIT 5: St. Patrick's Day

And the winner is...

This week's WIT is St. Patrick's Day, since it's Thursday. The week 3 winner is kenny with his Church & State photo.

WIT 4: Clocks

And the winner is...

This week's WIT is Clocks. The week 2 winner is kenny with his impatient spring photo. He's come a long way from submitting google images. He also has a pretty good chance at the week 3 win.

WIT 3: Signs

And the winner is...

This week's theme is signs.
Week 2 results are up. Thanks to those who submitted something. The Week 1 winner has been posted also.

WIT 2: Patience

And the winner is...

Dave (kenny) suggested that I occasionally make the theme a little more abstract. So this week's theme is going to be Patience. Week 1 Results can be found here. Thanks to everyone who submitted something, I didn't actually expect anyone else to be that interested in this! You can leave comments and vote for each Week 1 image. To do that, enter all your votes and comments (there are option boxes and text areas below each image) then click the 'Submit all Votes and Comments' button after you have entered them all. If you've already submitted a vote for a picture, your new vote will overwrite your old vote. You can leave as many comments as you want. Next week, I'll post the voted winner for Week 1. I'll also work on making the pages look nicer throughout this week. Also, I was wondering what everyone thought of this whole one week per theme? It seems like it might take up more time than I thought. Would you rather go to bi-weekly (bWIT)? And did you know bi-weekly can mean twice a week OR once every two weeks? P.S. Feel free to still submit images for week 1 if you want.

WIT 1: Eggs

And the winner is...

I went to a Random Word Generator to help me think of a theme. It gave me the word Dinosaur. Since it's fairly tricky to take photographs of living dinousaurs, eventually I brainstormed to eggs. So... The creative theme is Eggs. You don't necessarily need a picture of eggs, it just needs to have been the start of the thought process to what you do... Good Luck!
Try to have something submitted by Monday February 21. The next theme will be posted then. I'll get working on the submission pages and such, and post a link here when they're done.
